Solarcentury on track with 70MW in UK

Solarcentury says it is on course to build 70MW of UK PV capacity.

The company says the majority of the installations are ground-mounted arrays, and claims the "new wave of sites marks the start of Solarcentury as a developer as well as a pure EPC contractor".

Solarcentury’s latest site to secure planning consent is the 11.6MW Stratton Hall Solar Park in Suffolk, southern England.

The industry faces a support cut on 1 April when large PV arrays in the UK will receive 1.6 Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs), down from the current 2 ROCs.
