SolarWorld delays report amid creditor talks

German PV equipment giant SolarWorld has postponed publication of its year-end financial statement while it tries to work out a restructuring plan with its creditors.

SolarWorld was due to release its annual report on 21 March.

But the company told investors today that its board is working on a “restructuring concept” with law firm Görg and Houlihan Lokey investment bank, and the annual report will be delayed.

SolarWorld announced in January that it would need to ask its creditors to agree significant restructuring of its debts.

Today it said: “Talks with creditors are proceeding constructively. As soon as the restructuring concept has been approved, SolarWorld AG will inform the public and present its annual group report Log in to read complete article.
