sustainable

and
energy,
met
with
industry
leaders
to
thrash
out
immediate
obstacles
like
grid-connection
procedures,
as
well
as
the
rules
governing
upcoming
solar
tenders.
In
January
the
Hollande
government
launched
“emergency”
measures
to
resuscitate
the
sector,
which
had
been
left
on
the
ropes
by
Chinese
competitors
and
the
previous
government’s
decision
to
cap
installations
at
500MW
per
year.
Among
the
measures
announced,
the
new
government
doubled
France's
2013
solar
target
to
1GW.
