Trina will deliver modules to 20MW and 10MW projects being developed by Spain's Gestamp Solar in Northern Cape Province.
The modules will be delivered to the sites in the towns of Prieska and De Aar in the third quarter of 2013.
Trina says the deal marks its first major sale in South Africa.
