The projects – a mixture of ground-mounted and modules on car park shelters – were secured through a national solar tender.
Construction is scheduled for 2014 and 2015, with operations set to begin next year and in early 2016.
The plants will be developed via GDF Suez’s two subsidiaries, La Compagnie du Vent and La Compagnie Nationale du Rhône.
The projects will exclusively use locally-produced technology, said GDF Suez.
