Kencot Hill solar farm will be constructed on a 129-acre site on a disused airfield 30km from Oxford.
The 144,000-module ground-mounted plant will produce enough electricity to power 10,000 homes, and is due to be connected towards the end of this summer.
The solar project follows 68MW of new PV capacity built by Conergy in the UK in the first three months of this year.
