The German company is acquiring the projects - a 13.5MW development on the site of a disused coal mine in South Wales and a 4.45MW development in southwest England - from Solar Securities.
As part of efforts to regenerate the Welsh Valleys, Caerphilly County Borough Council has granted planning permission for the 13-hectare site to be used as a solar farm for 35 years.
