The 4.5MW array was completed just before an incentive reduction that kicked in on April 1.
Conergy expects the ground mounted solar farm in Lovedean, Hampshire, to produce about 4.6GWh of electricity a year.
“Large ground-mounted installations are considerably gaining in importance in the UK, in particular due to the targets for the generation of green power by the British government,” says Conergy UK managing director Robert Goss.
