With the EuropeanCommission (EC) apparently poised to impose anti-dumping tariffs ranging from37.2% to 67.9%, the average price of Chinese modules could soar to $.97 perwatt in June from $0.66 per watt in March, according to the research group.

“In recent months,prices of Chinese modules have crept upwards in key European markets as aresult of the additional overhead incurred from the mandatory registration ofimported modules from China,” said Ash Sharma, senior director of solarresearch for IHS.
