"As already confirmed several months ago, the Commission has received a complaint launched by a German association representing private consumers and SMEs,” Antoine Colombani, spokesman to competition commissioner Joaquín Almunia, said in a statement sent to Recharge.
The spokesman, however, did not confirm an earlier report by the Der Spiegel magazine that Almunia this week plans to start proceedings against Germany regarding the exemption.
