SMA,which is in the process of shedding 700 jobs in Germany, boosted its share ofinternational sales to 67.4% during the first half of the year – up from 53.7%during the same period last year.

However,that percentage came out of a significantly smaller sales pie, with revenuesplunging by 45% to €461.5m ($616m).
