With acquisitions announced today,some 350 jobs will be saved, of those 140 in Germany, Conergy said.

The investor will not, however,purchase units in Spain, France, Greece, India and the Czech Republic thattogether employ 110 people.

Kawa in late August had alreadyannounced the purchase of Conergy’s sales units in the US, Canada, Singaporeand Thailand.

“Our Asian and North Americanunits are already working very successfully in the new organisation and we areconvinced that this will also be the case with our European and Australiansubsidiaries,” says Conergy chief executive Philip Comberg.
