Germany's renewable energies federation BEE expects a surcharge consumers pay on power bills to finance the expansion of renewables to remain stable or rise slightly next year, among other reasons because of offshore wind farms connected to the grid in 2015.
German development bank KfW unveiled €125m ($140m) of funding for renewable transmission projects in India, a day after Chancellor Angela Merkel announced that Germany will back the Asian nation’s clean energy ambitions to the tune of €2bn.
