D.E. Shaw offers to replace SunEd as TerraForm Power's sponsor

US hedge fund D.E. Shaw has offered to replace SunEdison as the operating sponsor of yieldco TerraForm Power, in a move it says would allow SunEdison to emerge from bankruptcy more quickly.
