Hareon plans 150MW in China

Hareon Solar has announced plans to install 150MW of PV capacity at three sites in China.

The company, based in eastern China’s Jiangsu province, has asked the Hebei provincial government for permission to build a 50MW ground-mount array near Zhangjiakou, northwest of Beijing.

If the plan is approved, it aims to bring the project online by the end of this year.

In two additional filings to the Shanghai stock exchange, Hareon also revealed tentative plans to install two 50MW projects in southwestern China.

The sites, in Yuxi and Qujing, are both near Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province.
