Canadian Solar PV for India airport

Canadian Solar expects to ship 1.6-1.8GW of modules this year

The airport is using Canadian Solar modules

Ontario-based Canadian Solar revealed that it supplied the modules for a 2.1MW PV plant at Delhi International Airport – said to be India’s biggest airport solar project to date.

The plant was completed in December after a three-month installation project.

Canadian Solar claimed its modules were selected because of the company's prior experience supplying them to airport solar power plants.

Those have included the Thunder Bay Airport Solar Park in Ontario – one of the first utility-scale solar installations on airport authority land, which went live in October 2011.
