ReneSola scores 57MW UK deal

Distributed PV makes up a fast-growing slice of the American market.

China's ReneSola has already started delivering 57MW of solar panels for three UK projects.

ReneSola announced its second order in less than a month from Spanish EPC provider Isolux Corsan, with a deal to provide 57MW of PV modules for three utility-scale projects in the UK.

The company started delivering solar panels in December for PV plants in Dorset, Cornwall and Norfolk.

The projects will be connected to the grid in March, it said in an online statement, without disclosing the terms of the deal.

In mid-January, the Zhejiang-based solar manufacturer said it had supplied 31.7MW of PV modules to Isolux Corsan for a project that went online in December in Suffolk, southern England.
