Chinese PV manufacturer Yingli Green Energy’s Singapore unit will supply modules to Malaysia’s biggest solar plant, a 10.3MW installation in the state of Negeri Sembilan.

The New York-listed company will deliver about 42,000 of its YGE 60 Cell Series panels to the solar park, which is situated on a 34-acre site in the town of Gemas, southeast of Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysian PV project developer Amcorp Power will operate the plant.

Yingli, based in Baoding, in China’s Hebei province, was the world’s largest PV module supplier in 2012, with 2.3GW shipped. It has said it expects to move 3.3GW of panels in 2013.
