Conergy wins 31MW Thai PV order

German PV group Conergy has won a 31.5MW order from Thailand’s Siam Solar Energy, further expanding its business in the fast-growing market.

Conergy is already building two 10.5MW plants for SSE, a subsidiary of Thai Solar Energy, which are due to be connected to the grid in the first quarter of 2013.

The three new projects of 10.5MW each will be built in Suphanburi and Kanchanaburi provinces in western Thailand.

Conergy will oversee the planning, engineering and design, as well as the component supply and installation. Construction of the power plants is scheduled to complete in May 2013.
