Zhou Weiping resigned as interim CEO, chief financial officer andpresident with immediate effect, said a statement.
Suntech gave Zhou the CEO role on an interim basiswhen previous incumbent David King left the company in September.
Suntech Power Holdings is the subject ofinsolvency proceedings in the Cayman Islands.
Its former main manufacturing arm in China,Wuxi Suntech, is being acquired by Chinese PV group Shunfeng.
