The module incorporates a host of improvements deemed central to next-generation PV technology, including back-surface passivation and low-resistance connection technology.

The new module -- currently in pilot production -- has been certified with an output of 326.3W by TUV Rheinland, a new world record for p-type monocrystalline silicon modules.

That compares to the 284.7W notch achieved by the last generation of Trina’s Honey modules.
