Jinko connects 39MW in east China

JinkoSolar has connected 39MW at two sites in eastern China’s Jiangsu province.

It secured 20-year subsidies of 1.125 yuan/kWh ($0.18/kWh for a 24MW project in Xinyi and 1.1 yuan/kWh for a 15MW installation in the city of Lianyungang.

Jinko has now connected 252MW of PV capacity to the grid and is actively seeking downstream opportunities in eastern China, it said in an online statement.

Earlier this month, it signed a $39m loan deal with the China Development Bank (CDB) to finance a 15MW array in Jinchang, Gansu province and a 20MW solar project in Alaer, in western China’s Xinjiang region.
