The project will be built in Mildura, in the southeasternstate of Victoria. The city saw its solar ambitions knocked back late lastyear when the 180MW Mallee Solar Park was rejected funding by the governmentagency overseeing Australia’s Solar Flagships programme.
The grid-connection agreement for the Mildura project wasfacilitated by Clean Technology Partners, a PV engineering consultancy basednear Melbourne, with which Belectric has announced a framework agreement forsubsequent Australia projects.
