Like all module producers, Jinko is diversifying aggressively away from Europe, with chief executive Kangping Chen specifically pointing to China, Japan, South Africa and India as key near-term growth avenues for the company.
But the US, which installed some 3.3GW of PV last year, according to GTM Research – up 76% on the year prior – will “account for a large portion of the global growth in [2013]”, claims Chen.
