The three projects range from Hokkaido island in the north to Kyushu in the south.
Hanwha Q-Cells will supply thepanels, Sumitomo spokesperson Sayaka Ito tells Recharge, and NTT Facilities will build andoperate the projects.
This month, NTT starts construction on a 13MW plant in the city of Tomakomai,Hokkaido. Installation will be completed in November 2014.
It will begin building a 13MW array in Kitakyushu, Kyushu, next month, with completion scheduled for July next year.
