Thecompany said it has tied up 1.35bn rupees ($22.6m) of long-term project fundingfrom “leading financial institutions” against a total project cost of 1.8bnrupees.
Welspunsays the project in Solapur has an agreement with Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply& Transport to supply power from the plant to the city of Mumbai.
