South Korea’s Hanwha Group acquired most assets of the insolvent, Germany-based Q Cells in August 2012, and now uses the Q Cells brand for a large part of its global business.

Hanwha Q Cells said it has already started to deliver modules to Marubeni and expects the array to start production in March 2014.

Generous feed-in tariffs have created  traction for global solar companies in the lucrative Japanese market.
