The Toshibagroup company will build and test the facility, which is scheduled to startoperations in March 2015. The project, in the city of Tahara, is being led byMitsubishi.
Toshiba willinstall 300,000 PV modules at the site but declined to reveal which companywill supply them. Construction is set to begin next month.
In January, Mitsubishi revealed plans toconstruct three solar plants in Tahara, near Nagoya, with acombined capacity of 95MW.
