Thailand now aims to have 13.9GW of renewable and otherclean-energy sources in place by 2021, up from the previous goal of 9.2GW,reports The Nation.
The country’s Energy Ministry also introduced a feed-intariff for rooftop solar deployments.
The plan sees a bigger contribution from solar and bioenergysources than previously expected, but a reduced role for hydropower, the report adds.
