Panasonic recorded a group netprofit of ¥107.8bn ($1.1bn) in theApril-June period, up from ¥12.8bn in the first quarter of 2012.
Sales at its Eco Solutions division, whichproduces PV modules among other products, rose 6% to ¥411.6bn.
It shipped198MW of PV panels in the first quarter, a spokesperson told Recharge.
Osaka-based Panasonic did notdisclose quarterly PV shipment figures in 2012, but delivered 540MW of PV inthe fiscal year to March 2013.
