The heavily-indebted Chinese company – which lost more than $1bn in 2012 –attributed the lower net deficit to its restructuring and cost-reduction efforts.
Net sales reached $114.7m in thethree months to 30 June, from $104.3m in the first quarter.
LDK noted several positivefactors, such as the gradual stabilisation of average selling prices for itsmodules and the cooling of EU-China trade tensions over Chinese-made PV kit.
