The order for the supply of solar modules and theconstruction of a 13MW and a 9MW PV park comes from San Carlos Solar Energy, a joint venture between local developer Bronzeoak Philippines and theEuropean asset management and project financing group Thomas Lloyd.
Completion of the solar arrays is expected in the firsthalf of 2014.
“With the market entry on the Philippines, we are tappinginto a further attractive growth market after Thailand and with this order arebuilding one of the first and above all of the largest power plants on thearchipelago,” says Marc Lohoff, the head of sales for Asia and North America atConergy.
