It willwork with a unit of Japan’s Orion Breweries, which plans to develop 4.7MW ofsolar at three sites in Okinawa. Marubeni expects the 2MW site to becomeoperational by next March.
It didnot disclose the terms of the deal or a PV panel supplier.
Aspokesperson for Tokyo-based Marubeni told Recharge that the company initiallyplans to expand its EPC operations in Japan. However, it will consider solarEPC projects in other countries if it identifies opportunities.
