TheJapanese renewables developer plans to build the utility-scale project on anunused golf course. The 80-hectare site lies on the border of Miyagi andFukushima prefectures.
Theplant, which is scheduled to go on line in March 2015, will generate enoughelectricity to supply roughly 5,000 homes.
Lastweek, Tokyo-based Eurus started constructing a 33.5MW PV plant near the city ofAwaji, west of Osaka. Mitsubishi Electric will supply modules for that project,which is set to go online in July 2015.
