Moser Baer’s announcement will be welcome news for Delhi, which last month confirmed that 375MW of the 750MW of PV capacity to be auctioned off in the so-called “Phase 2, Batch 2” tender round of the National Solar Mission will be reserved for projects using both cells and modules produced in India.
Moser Baer claims to own 185MW of production capacity for crystalline silicon (c-Si) PV cells, although it does not currently make any.
