FLS wins financing for eight plants

FLS Energy says it has closed financing and begun construction on 38MW of utility-scale solar PV farms across eight locations in North Carolina, where the company is based.

The portfolio of projects is being financed as a bundle and will be the first phase of an expected 80MW to be constructed and owned by FLS Energy this year.

Duke Energy will purchase the output from all eight facilities through 15-year agreements.
