Trina debt, share offerings done

Trina Solar says it has raised $239.2m after expenses from offerings of debt and American Depositary Receipts, the Chinese company says in separate statements.

Trina says it raised a net $146.3m from the sale of convertible senior notes due 2019. Initial purchasers were given an option to purchase up to an additional $22.5m aggregate principal amount of the notes.

Separately, Trina reports net proceeds from an offering of 8.8 million ADRs were $92.9m at $11 per ADR. Each ADR is worth 50 ordinary shares, according to the statement.

Trina traded at $11.23 in New York on Friday at 1020, down 19 cents, versus a 52-week high of $18.77.
