Jinko wins California supply deal

JinkoSolar says it has won a contract to supply 38.7MW of PV Modules to EDP Renovaveis for two solar facilities in California that will come into service later this year.

Terms of the deal were not made public.

JinkoSolar will provide 120,000 high-efficiency solar panels for construction of the 12.4MW (DC) Lone Valley Solar Park I and 24.8MW (DC) Lone Valley Solar Park II projects, in Lucerne Valley, California.

Both projects will supply electricity to 5,000 homes in San Bernardino County.

"We are excited to be working with EDP Renovaveis, an extremely reputable IPP company on these two large projects," says Nigel Cockroft, JinkoSolar's US general manager.
