Fast-growing US solar EPC player Strata has returned to China’s ET Solar for another large order of modules, this time ordering up 23MW of ET’s 300W panels destined for six arrays in North Carolina.

The order follows a 13MW shipment Nanjing-based ET made to Strata last autumn in North Carolina, which has rapidly become one of the most important US solar markets on the back of its booming utility-scale segment.

North Carolina was the second largest statewide PV market in the US last year, according to Chapel Hill-based Strata Solar, despite the state's near-total lack of a residential market.

Strata Solar claims to have installed 300MW of PV capacity over the past three years, and expects to install the same amount again this year across 40 projects in North Carolina.
