DNV GL gets smart in Middle East

DNV GL, the global testing, certification and energy advisory firm, has launched a new initiative to share best practice and expertise in energy storage, efficiency and smart cities in the Middle East.

The newly expanded DNV GL group is attending the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi this week.

With many of the power generation and network assets in the Middle East approaching their half-life, and many of the utilities and other stakeholders wanting to transition from a hydrocarbon based economy to a greener model, the summit is looking at ways to boost clean energy and energy efficiency capabilities in the region.
