ET supplies Strata in N. Carolina

ET Solar, the Chinese PV manufacturer and EPC player, has delivered 13MW of modules to North Carolina-based developer Strata Solar for two ground-mount arrays in its home state.

North Carolina has become the fourth-largest statewide market in the US on the back of the booming utility-scale segment, with installations primed to grow 80%.

North Carolina joins New Jersey (the third largest US state market) and Massachusetts (the fifth) to create a compelling demand centre along the Atlantic seaboard, which is increasingly capable of competing with the sunny West Coast for the attention of developers and module suppliers.

“We see the east coast as a key market in the United States,” says ET chief executive Dennis She.
