Hyundai to put 10MW PV on plant

Automotive giant Hyundai says it will deploy Korea’s largest rooftop PV installation at its factory in Asan.

The 10MW of modules will cover 213,000 square metres of the Asan vehicle plant’s buildings by the end of the year.

Hyundai will sell the solar power to Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) for supply to local customers, says the auto group.
