Spain’s
Abengoa
will
be
engineering,
procurement
and
construction
(EPC)
contractor
at
Palen,
and
provide
operation
and
maintenance
services
once
it
is
online.
Califiornia-based
Brightsource
will
provide
the
solar
equipment
and
plant-design
services.
Palen
consists
of
two
250MW
plants
in
a
Department
of
Interior
Solar
Energy
Zone
in
Riverside
County,
California.
The
partners
"will
work
together
to
permit
and
finance"
the
project,
says
a
statement.
They
hope
to
begin
construction
work
at
the
end
of
this
year
and
commence
operations
in
2016.
