Solar
now
expects
2012
cell
and
module
shipments
to
be
between
1.55GW
and
1.65GW,
compared
to
previous
guidance
of
1.5GW
to
1.8GW.
It
sees
fourth-quarter
shipments
of
380MW
to
420MW.
The
company
shipped
418MW
during
the
third
quarter,
for
which
it
posted
a
net
loss
of
371.4m
($59.1m)
–
roughly
the
same
as
its
deficit
at
the
same
stage
last
year.

executive
Fang
Peng
says:

spite
of
tough
market
conditions,
shipments
exceeded
the
top
end
of
our
guidance
in
the
third
quarter,
thanks
to
robust
sales
across
emerging
markets.
