First
Solar
has
been
trying
to
sell
its
panels
in
China
for
some
time
but
has
struggled
to
shift
the
relatively
unknown
cadmium-telluride
technology
in
the
country.
The
new
deal
will
see
its
equipment
installed
in
Xinjiang
province
in
the
first
quarter
of
2013.
First
Solar
says
it
will
provide
a
“strong
platform”
to
showcase
the
company’s
technology
in
the
fast-growing
Chinese
market.

for

Solar
and
leading
Chinese
companies,
both
within
China
and
globally,”
