PSEG, juwi expand solar collaboration with new US project

A unit of New Jersey energy holding company PSEG has completed the acquisition of a 15MW solar project in Milford, Delaware, from the US subsidiary of juwi solar.

Terms of the deal were not released. Juwi will engineer, procure and oversee construction of the facility, as well as perform operation and maintenance services for the project. Construction will begin this month and is expected to enter commercial operation in the fourth quarter.

The $50m project has a power purchase agreement for energy and solar renewable energy credits with Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation. Upon completion, the PSEG Milford Solar Farm will be largest solar farm in Delaware.
