Georgia
Public
Service
Commission
in
a
5-0
vote
approved
the
utility’s
Georgia
Power
Advanced
Solar
Initiative
(GPASI).
To
help
meet
the
programme
target,
Georgia
Power
will
purchase
60MW
of
utility-scale
solar
power
in
both
2013
and
2014
through
a
competitive
request
for
proposal
(RFP)
program
with
projects
ranging
in
size
from
1Mw
to
20MW.
On
a
distributed
scale,
the
utility
will
seek
up
to
45MW
each
year
of
solar
power
from
smaller
project
with
specific
reservations
for
those
less
than
100
kW
