China's GCL sells 48MW of California PV for $50m

China’s GCL-Poly has sold two PV projects in the US for a total price of $50.5m.

The group’s US subsidiary, GCL Solar Energy, says an undisclosed buyer acquired the plants in Tulare County and Kings County, California.

The two solar farms total 48MW of capacity and have 25-year power purchase agreements with utility Pacific Gas and Electric.

It is the second such deal by GCL-Poly this year, following its sale of 92MW of Californian projects in July.
