Conergy wins 21MW contract for two PV plants in Thailand

Conergy has secured a contract to supply modules and mounting systems for two solar PV plants totaling 21MW in Thailand that will provide electricity to 14,000 homes when completed in February.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the Hamburg-based company in Germany.

The contract was awarded by private investor Thai Solar Energy (TSE). Conergy will be the main contractor for the projects, responsible for planning, engineering and design as well as for component supply and installation.

For construction, Conergy will work with local partners Annex Power and the Ensys Group. The state-owned Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) will buy power from the projects under long-term contract.
