Solarpack and Gestamp bring 20MW Peru PV plant online

Spanish solar groups Solarpack and Gestamp Solar have begun operations at the 20MW Tacna PV project in Peru.

Tacna, in which US group Conduit Capital Partners is also an investor, is one of two PV plants the partners are building following the Peruvian renewables tender in 2010.

The second project, also 20MW, is located in Moquegua and is expected to come on line by the end of 2012.
